Shipping FAQ
For orders with a Net Cart Value below $50, we charge a $9.95 shipping fee. For orders with Net Cart Value above $50, shipping is free. Priority 2-3 day shipping is an extra $9.95 fee.
Net Cart Value is the value of your shopping cart after any discounts or sale pricing is applied.
Track from your email confirmation or your account. When we process your order, we generate a shipping label and tracking number. You’ll receive an email confirmation with either a USPS, FedEx or UPS tracking number, and will list all the zero sugar chocolate flavors that are on their way. Alternatively, if you created an account on our website, you can log in to get your tracking number. If you have any other questions about your order, you can always contact customer service.
We want to send your chocolate as soon as possible but more importantly, we want to avoid melting issues. We only ship Monday through Wednesday.
If you order Monday or Tuesday, you can expect regular shipments to arrive within 3 to 7 business days from the day of your order.
If you order Wednesday through Sunday, your order will deliver within 3 to 7 business days from the Monday following your order.
If you would like your shipment expedited, we offer 2- to 3-business day shipping via Fedex or USPS Priority Mail for $10 additional, depending on the size of the order. Just select Priority 2-3 day Shipping at Checkout.
Note that Packages ordered Thursday or Friday will be delivered by Wednesday the following week, as we do not ship over the weekend to protect your chocolates from melting.

Canada – add your address to find our fixed shipping rates for Canada. Canada shipping does not include Customs or VAT. Please contact us for questions.
All international countries served by UPS and USPS. You will see USPS and UPS shipping options at checkout. We reserve the right to use any of the four postal carriers above depending on our experience with their service in your country, and we will update you on the postal carrier we select along with your tracking number. Customs, duties and/or VAT are the responsibility of each customer. Please contact us with any questions about your international shipment.
Yes. Within the 50 states, we offer free shipping for orders greater than $50 Net Cart Value (net of any discounts).
We will find the most economical and efficient method of shipping that ensures your delicious chocolate stays cool and safe.
Yes, we have packaging solutions that keep chocolate cool for 2-3 days. During heatwaves where temperatures in San Francisco or at the destination are greater than 100F, we may choose to delay shipment until the weather cools. Summer is usually from May to October, but we check the weather at your destination and will package your shipment depending on the specific weather conditions at your shipment addresss. Let us know if you have any questions.
Our cardboard shipping boxes are recyclable. Whenever possible, we use insulated shipment packaging in foam pouches, where the foam can be recycled in consumer recycling stream. Our cold packs are reusable.
Accidents happen. If you believe your shipment has been damaged in transit or is lost, please contact us and we will make every effort to find your order. In some cases, we purchase shipment insurance to protect your order.
When you contact us, please provide your name, email, order number. In addition, email photos of any damages, if any, to help@goodchocolate.com.
We proudly stand behind our zero sugar chocolate made from bean to bar. If you are not 100% satisfied with your order of The Good Chocolate, please contact us. We will be happy to send you a replacement or substitute flavor, or refund your purchase. In order to receive a refund, you are required to send the remaining contents of your original order to The Good Chocolate, 25 Leland Ave, San Francisco, CA 94134.
